Our four-year Law with Business and Management LLB (Hons) with placement degree is designed for those interested in both law and business management. It's perfect for those considering a career as an in-house lawyer, or those looking to build their legal expertise in a particular area of law as it relates to business.
The programme is taught by a mix of academic experts and practitioner lawyers, who put real world clinical legal experience at the heart of the programme. You’ll develop a critical grasp of the law and its political, social, corporate and economic contexts, and undertake a placement year in your third year.
We offer a range of LLB Law programmes which share common modules – the Law with Business Management degree adds specialist modules covering a range of management, business, finance and marketing disciplines, making it the perfect choice for an agile, commercially aware aspiring lawyer.
Our LLB programme covers all seven law foundation subjects, which will put you in a great position to gain work experience and placement opportunities, and enhance your employability.

If you already know you want to be a solicitor, you may be interested in our MLaw in Legal Theory & Solicitors Practice, which gives you a clear and supported career pathway to qualification as a solicitor. You may alternatively transfer onto the MLaw from the Law with Business and Management LLB at the end of year 2 subject to good performance.
Professional accreditation
The Bradford Law with Business and Management LLB Law degree satisfies the Bar Standards Board law degree requirements for aspiring barristers for the academic component of bar training and provides an excellent grounding for aspiring solicitors who wish to go on to prepare for the Solicitors’ Qualifying Exam (SQE).

Studying our Law with Business Management LLB will help to prepare you for part 1 of the SQE or to progress onto a Bar Training Course (if you wish to qualify as a barrister - for more information see the Bar standards Board website).
Law with Business and Management LLB (Hons) at University of Bradford International College is eligible for Student Finance England funding: a tuition fee loan of up to £9,535 per year paid directly to the university, plus a maintenance loan of up to £13,762 per year for your living costs. There is no upper age limit — mature students apply through exactly the same process. Repayments only start once you earn over £25,000 a year.
